    Superb

I was working at the Pentagon. This Hilton was very convenient (about 20 metres) for the Metro into work and into DC - a few stops. I normally stay in Crystal City but this trip the hotels there were both unaffordable and unavailable. Crystal City isn't interesting at all, but Old Town is more so. It's a bit of a hike into the Old Town (10 minutes walk down to the CVS, for example ) to find any generally useful stores - there are lots os designer stores) but their is a good ambience about the place and a free shuttle down into Old Town every 15 minutes from the Metro adjacent to the Hilton and also from just across the road. There are a couple of outlets nearby - Dunkin Donuts, a Subway and an up market kebab shop with limited hours within a couple of minutes of the Hilton

    Fabulous

The location is very good, close to the bus station and the Metro. The free Trolley traveling up and down King Street is a plus. What I did not like at the Hilton, was the muggy pool water. The pool is also very small. I chose the Hilton over other King Street hotels because of the pool, but the pool was a great disappointment. Another think that I did not like was that awful and loud music in the lobby, coming from the bar and dining room.

Although it located next to the King Street Station, it is very calm. Hotel staffs are very kind and the room is very comfortable.

    Very good

Location & meeting up with our daughter whom we only see usually in July!

Due to location, price of the room is very high. Also, they charged us $27/night parking & you had said $20/night.

The room was very nice. We were able to rest when not out and about. As vegetarians, we often have trouble getting acceptable food...a microwave would have helped, or just a water boiling pot.

The parking lot was deplorable and Hilton should be ashamed to charge for it.. Our car broke down in it and it took the staff my getting angry to find the lot manager...the people working in the lot ...b3 area wore masks, my daughter stayed with the car while I tried for over an hour to get help from staff of hotel...my daughter had to breathe lousy air and deal with deafening noise while they took their time...once found the lot manager was smug and disinterested...did not offer any assistance. They have all outside doors to lot locked because parking lots are dangerous places, but no one at Hilton cared about our plight...once checked out, we were not of interest to them. I took matters into my own hands, the removal of the car from the one lane lot took a very skilled technician as the car could not be driven nor is towing possible in this lot. When all goes well, we are not aware of problems...when people have real trouble, Hilton should care and assist. If I return to old town I would look into other lodging in the future. The car breaking down was not their fault, but their lack of concern for a guest who had just checked out was extremely disappointing. It was a scary and tenuous situation and the Hilton was responsible for the parking lot's deplorable condition...a good host would have taken that responsibility and acted quickly to help us. We received no assistance from the Hilton in this situation in which each time I returned to the lot to check on my daughter who stayed with a car that was in a precarious spot, I had to walk two blocks back to the front entry...finding one's way in the mess was very hard...the tech who got the car out could not follow the poor directions through the maze of cones and signs . I wrote as much as I did because I am upset and I sincerely doubt any of the hilton staff will remember it as it was clear they did not care. l

    Good

The location near the Metro is perfect. The front desk was very helpful.

The bar in the lounge, the only bar, did not have a server who knew anything about being a bartender. She barely spoke English, could not serve a mixed drink, and then could not locate a wine bottle on the shelves. This was during the hours of 6-7:30pm.

Very convenient to Metro, and therefore to DC's amenities.

    Fabulous

The location is perfect for visiting Old Town Alexandria & D.C. because it is so close to the Metro, Amrak, and King Street Trolley.

    1. The bed in master bedroom had a large body sag/depression which was not comfortable. 2. Only one of the two hair blowers worked. 3. Pressure to attend an "informational meeting."

    Nice, efficient staff.

Slight mix up in the reservation but was taken care of promptly.

    Superb

    Close to metro.

Complimentary water in the room..... 3 bottles of water, 1 complimentary, the other 2 would be billed if consumed. A bit petty, considering the room rate.
